Terry Emm is a young singer songwriter from a small village in Bedfordshire. Terry writes personal, melancholic songs with poetic lyrics with a romanticism for nature, real people, places and relationships. He has been playing solidly around the UK for the past three years gathering a small but dedicated following who describe his live shows as 'nerve-wracklingly beautiful' and 'hushed and reflective'. A limited edition EP sold out at shows shared with acts as diverse as; Iain Archer, Megson, Corb Lund and The Hoosiers and recieved glowing reviews from independent press and radio stations.
Terry was awarded Johnny Coppin's 'Under 21's Folk Quest' award in 2007 which has helped give him more exposure including a BBC Radio session and festival slots. Terry is currently putting the finishing touches to his debut album recorded with renowned guitarist and producer Richard Durrant (Ukulele Orchestra, Don Partridge, Jack Cryer) to be released on Longman Records. Some of the album tracks have already been chosen to appear in US soap 'As The World Turns' on the CBS channel. As Maverick magazine have stated Terry is 'certainly a name to look out for.
